Welcome to the ParaMOOC 2024 Course!
This is the second course in the new series of Parapsychology Research and Education courses (also known as the ParaMOOC series) is here at last! Starting with an Opening Session at noon Central on Sunday, April 14th, the course will have lectures and discussion forums spread out over two weeks, finishing up on Sunday, April 28th, with the Closing Session and Final Discussion.
The presentations will take place in the ParaMOOC Zoom room. (Registrants will get the link in their Welcome Letter. To register email parapsychologyonline@gmail.com and put “Register” in the subject line any time from now until April 28th.
There will also be an opening session on Sunday the 14th of April in the virtual world Second Life at The AZIRE Library and Learning Center in the Chilbo Community (more information about that in the Opening Session) and a Dance Party in Second Life on Sunday the 28th as well.
The topic of this year’s ParaMOOC course is “Children and Psi,” a course that highlights not only academic and scientific research into the phenomena that are reported by children, but also honors the various experts who have worked with children and their experiences. And of course, we have a presentation by Dr James G. Matlock (Jim) who will cover children and their memories of previous lives while also arguing that the experiences those children have are not “psi” but the study of their experiences falls squarely within the wider understanding of parapsychology.
